Wow, it has been a long time since a posted to the blog. It has been a long year for me personally, but things are returning to normal so I thought I would post.
Next weekend we will be enjoying a five day weekend during which we will celebrate Memorial Day. Memorial Day is a time to pay reverence and remember those who have given their lives for our freedom. Sometimes it is easy to take advantage of our vacation without really contemplating the reason we are able to enjoy the time off. Please take some time to look at the Memorial Day links below and investigate what has been done historically and what is done today to remember our heroes.

After a little surfing post a comment including something you learned about Memorial Day and if you have known a veteran or know someone who is still serving our country thank them for their service. Even if you are not aware of any veterans in your life thank them anyway!
